 In 1991, Rob and Robin Dubow purchased what was then known as Negaard Lettering and changed the name to Dubow Textile, Inc. At the time of the purchase, the business was being run out of a converted garage with 3 employees and 24 heads of embroidery equipment. Six months after purchasing the business, we moved to a 3,500 square foot facility, and an additional 24 heads of embroidery equipment were added.
We continued our expansion and development, and in May of 1994, built our current 22,000 square foot production and fulfillment facility. Over the course of the next few years our staff grew to 60 employees, two shifts, and we increased our on-site equipment to over 160 embroidery heads. With our growth, we developed and coordinated the following departments: digitizing, shipping, customer service, accounting, and the necessary production management to assure that Dubow Textile, Inc. has positioned itself to serve all of our customers' embroidery needs well into the twenty-first century. |
