One of the secrets in producing top-quality embroidery is to digitize the artwork efficiently. Quality digitizing affects the way the piece looks as well as how smoothly it runs in production, and the final cost to the customer.
Digitizing – Taking art from a graphic format to a format that an embroidery machine can use is an art form in and of itself. Understanding the give and take the needle and thread cause while sewing all different types of fabrics can only be obtained through years of experience. We digitize for everything from velvet to leather, sox to umbrellas and some really rare things in between. The years of experience our art team brings to our customers has had a beneficial affect on our company and our customers’ sales. The digitizing programs that power our art department are top of the line technology and we are constantly updating and replacing them to stay at the cutting edge of the industry.
Quotes – To obtain a quote for digitizing your design you may fax a hard copy to us at 800-663-7551 or attach it to your email to us in TIFF, JPG, EPS, including Power Point at info@dubowtextile.com. Please include your fax or email address, company, and name. Please tell us the size or where you would like the finished logo placed on the garment, as this will affect the quote.
Swatch – We will send two sewn swatches on the type and color of fabric you request when we digitize your logo. We will match the PMS colors of your design with the thread used to sew the swatch. An Approval form for the design is sent with your swatch – this form must be signed before any production can be done. Any changes needed should be noted on this form, and immediately returned to us for revisions.
Disk or Design Requests: Designs are mailed to you on a disk for a $10.00 charge upon receipt of your Purchase Order. We will e-mail your design at no charge.
